All Egba sons and daughters heartily adorn the annual celebration of Lisabi festival, the 31st edition celebrating deliverance of Egbaland from oppression and slavery with pomp and pageantry.

and the Alake of Egba Land along side other respected monarch in the kingdom
were all present to grace the auspicious occasion.
Over the years, the Lisabi narrative has been geared towards
adding great value to peoples’ lives through the selection of germane themes
that proffer solutions to challenges confronting the society.
The theme for the 2017 Lisabi festival is “Self Reliance
through Agriculture for a secured tomorrow”.
Apart from huge employment opportunities that agriculture
can offer, there is a legion of advantages that can be derived from this
critical sector that required attention.
The Governor of Ogun state His Excellency Ibikunle Amosun promised Oba Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo that come next year, Lisabi festival will be celebrated in a more befitting Pavilion.
