The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of
Chiefs and Obas , Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (CFR) will on Friday, 17 March
organise a special prayer session in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Emir announced this through a statement issued by Magaji
Nda, Alhaji Salihu Mohammed Woru in Ilorin on Tuesday and made available to
journalists.
Magaji Nda disclosed that the occasion is to offer prayers
to Allah to continue to guide, protect and grant Buhari sound health to pilot
the affairs of the country.
According to him, the prayer session, which will be presided
over by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashir Solihu (OON) will
hold at the Ilorin Central Juma'at mosque by 9 am.
Magaji Nda said that government functionaries, Islamic
clerics and people of Kwara State and beyond are enjoined to attend the prayer
session.
President Muhammadu Buhari resumed his official duty as
President of the nation on Monday 13th March 2017 at the Aso Rock Presidential
Villa after 50 days away on vacation in the United Kingdom.
His doctors advised he needs more time to rest, there are
speculation in the presidency the president might be leaving soon to the United
kingdom for more medical attention.
