Dr Ramon Adedoyin, the Maye of the Source, on Friday donated 50
bundles of iron sheets to the Hausa victims of the Ife March 8 crisis.

Chief Iyabo Adedoyin, lauded the Hausa community for attributing the crisis to
one of the destinies planned by God and for allowing peace to reign in Ife

happens as will of Allah, saying there was a possibility of escalating the
crisis to other parts of the country if it were another tribe.

whenever there was trace of dispute and pass their grievances to appropriate
quarters for quick intervention.
Also, the Yeye Maye said that Hausa were not strangers in Ife,
but described as indigenes, saying their generations have resided in Ife on no
fewer than 200 years.
She thanked God for the quick intervention, sparing some lives
till date and for not allowing Sabo to be totally destroyed.
She called on the affected community to sustain the existing
peace for development.
Adedoyin also applauded them for their maturity and mutual
understanding after the violence, saying what has been written has been written.
Responding, the Sarkin Hausawa, Alhaji Mohammed Madagali,
appreciated the gesture, noting that the Maye has been supportive even before
the crisis.
He pledged their support to the maintenance of peace and unity
in Ile-Ife, assuring of reprisal attack.
